My name is Dominique Noel, and I currently hold the position of Senior Manager in Wine Management, Wine Buying, and Corporate and Private Sommelier for the executive office of a large corporate company based in Hong Kong. I have been working in the wine industry for 33 years and have gained experience in various roles such as Sommelier, Wine Buyer, Wine Quality Control Director, and Wine Market Analyst. I have worked in prominent wine hubs across three continents, including Bordeaux, Paris, London, New York, and my current location, Hong Kong.
Throughout my career, I have held management and wine buyer positions in high-end restaurants, specialized wine and spirits boutique stores, and within the wine division of two large corporate groups. My skills include expertise in Wine and Spirits, Food and Beverage, Restaurant Service, Wine Events, Wines and Wineries, Wine Tasting and Education, Wine Writing, as well as implementing wine ERP and Quality Control Systems.
I hold multiple certifications in the Wine Industry and have built a strong career focusing on wine buying, selling, serving, promoting, representing, judging, educating, writing, and organizing wine events and oenotourism.
Outside of the wine industry, I am passionate about food, writing, photography, music (I make my own too), visual arts, and all forms of art and culture. I have been a wine blogger for the past 16 years a www.ledomduvin.com and I'm also very active on social media.

The China Wine Competition judges are carefully selected by us and include Master Sommeliers, Top Sommeliers, On-Trade Wine Buyers and Wine Directors of China who all serve or buy wine for their business and are involved in developing wine lists.
The mission and philosophy of the China Wine Competition is to award wines that make a great addition to restaurants wine menus and by the glass programs. The judges are top sommeliers and on-trade wine buyers from China who understands the chinese palate.
These judges are here to highlight top wines the Chinese consumers can drink in restaurants, hotels, bars and clubs.
